Boys Will Be Boys

After a few days down in Florida celebrating Easter, it felt good to get back to Atlanta yesterday. A good friend brought his kids over for a few hours, and they had an absolute blast. His son and Hunter get along great, as do Sloane and his daughter. The kids played in the backyard for awhile, and then we decided to make a trip over to Pocket Park around the corner. After an hour or so of swings, slides and everything in between, it was time to head back to the house.

On the walk home, I decided to get a shot of the girls, since they look so much like sisters. As I took the shot below, and despite them being in the frame, I had no idea what the boys were up to in the distance...

After I took the picture, the girls turned and ran down the block to see what was going on...

Much to my surprise, and as my luck would have it, Hunter decided it was time to "relieve himself."

I suppose I should have been a responsible parent at that very moment and sprint to the scene of the crime and fix the situation.

But I didn't. Instead, I took a knee and put my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to use...

So there you have it. Boys will indeed be boys.

Regardless of the time or the place, it's just the way they roll...!
