Fitz & The Tantrums - Blueberry Hill, St. Louis
There's nothing better than discovering new music. Before the days of soccer games, play dates and make-believe tea parties, a majority of my free time was spent in record stores picking albums at random in the hopes of finding tunes that made my ears smile. Although I don't make it into those old stores much anymore, I have my ways of finding new stuff. And a few weeks ago, after perusing a fellow photog's website, I found Fitz and the Tantrums. I was immediately sold.
As luck would have it, Fitz was coming to St. Louis with his bandmates a few weeks later, and I immediately started the process of trying to get a photo pass. Within a matter of days, I got word that my pass would be waiting on me at the door.
After standing in line for close to an hour, I got my pass and went in to see the show. And what a show it was...
It goes without saying that if any of you have a chance to see these guys live, DO IT. You won't regret it.
One last thing...
Look through my pictures again and see if you can figure out what's missing.
One word: guitarist.
That's right. Guitarist. There isn't one. How cool is that???
